CIPS Preparatory Workshop

The objective of this workshop is to prepare the attendee for the CIPS exam.
The workshop includes cadaver practice of the CIPS procedures and simulation of the Oral exam on a total of 8 stations. This course requires careful review of the available online material, in order to get the most out of the practical sessions.

DAY 1 – Live Model Workshop
FRIDAY, MARCH 14

Station 1

Review of the ultrasound anatomy and procedures of lumbosacral spine and pelvis (peripheral nerves included)

  • Lumbar Medial Branch / Lumbar Facet Joint (CIPS)

Station 2

Review of the ultrasound anatomy and procedures of the thoracic spine (peripheral nerves included)

  • ESP Block

  • Intercostal Nerve
